SUMMARY:
The Product Strategy Senior Advisor provides strategic and operational advisory support for the execution, optimization, and ongoing maturity of the SafeGuardRx (SGRx) platform and related products. This role partners closely with Product Management leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate strategy into execution, ensure operational readiness, and support consistent product delivery.
The Senior Advisor serves as a subject‑matter expert, identifying execution risks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities, and recommending scalable solutions. This position influences outcomes through expertise and collaboration rather than direct product ownership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to the strategic direction and execution of SafeGuardRx and related products.
Advise product and cross‑functional teams on execution risks, process gaps, and operational improvement opportunities.
Provide visibility into program performance and health through review of data, reporting, and stakeholder materials.
Present insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, New Sales, Marketing, and other cross‑functional teams to support product readiness and execution.
Serve as a functional and product subject‑matter expert for complex initiatives.
Partner with Drug Strategy on drug pipeline insights and strategy across Advanced Utilization Management (AUM) and SafeGuardRx.
Communicate product needs to cross‑functional partners, including marketing, training, analytics, modeling, and reporting teams.
Support the development and refinement of SOPs, playbooks, and operational frameworks.
Partner with Product Management leadership to support evolving content, capabilities, and competencies.
Lead SafeGuardRx client audit responses.
Lead SafeGuardRx Value Announcements, including annual reconciliation and coordination with account teams.
Lead legislative impact assessments, client strategies, and communications across SafeGuardRx and AUM.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:
Bachelor's degree in related field
5+ years of relevant work experience in pharmacy product strategy
Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with minimal oversight
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
Flexibility to support peak business and regulatory periods
Bachelor’s degree
Strong understanding of pharmacy benefit design concepts (e.g., copays, accumulators, utilization management)
Experience influencing stakeholders without direct authority
Ability to build and maintain strong cross‑functional partnerships
Experience with quality improvement, process optimization, or operational excellence initiatives
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
