SPS Global is seeking a reliable and service-oriented Route Driver / Courier to support campus delivery and logistics operations. This role ensures the safe and timely pickup and delivery of mail and parcels while maintaining operational efficiency and exceptional service standards.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while representing SPS with professionalism and delivering a high-quality service experience to both clients and employees.
The Route Driver / Courier provides exceptional courier and delivery services by receiving orders from a centralized dispatch, retrieving parcels and mail from designated locations, and delivering them safely and efficiently across the campus.
This role also provides operational flexibility by supporting front or back office service functions when needed, ensuring continuous service delivery and maintaining a professional workplace experience.
Reports To:
Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, or equivalent leadership
Travel a predefined courier route via company vehicle to deliver mail and parcels throughout the campus
Perform pickups and deliveries by following mapped routes and written instructions
Maintain accurate logs and timestamps for all items received and delivered
Support chain-of-custody requirements in accordance with operational procedures
Respond to client requests and ensure accurate and timely delivery of completed orders
Complete required paperwork accurately and promptly
Operate company vehicles safely in compliance with state regulations and company policies
Maintain vehicle readiness through routine maintenance (fuel checks, oil changes, tire rotation, fluid levels)
Follow company guidelines in the event of accidents or injuries
Provide 5-star customer service in all communications
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards
Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams
Maintain composure and professionalism when handling sensitive matters
Proactively seek additional tasks during downtime
Provide coverage for front or back office functions as needed
Assist with shipping and receiving support when required
Train backup personnel and provide guidance on procedures and policies
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work assigned hours determined by manager
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn required systems
2+ years of courier, delivery, logistics, or related experience
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
Working knowledge of multifunction devices (MFDs) and office equipment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service orientation

Ability to lift or move packages up to 40 lbs. or more frequently
Ability to move packages using a wheeled cart with 60 lb capacity

Physical and mental capability to operate a company vehicle safely
