How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Technician Rotating Equipment within the ALLISA organisation provides technical support to production and maintenance managers, engineers and foremen with respect to information gathering, data accumulation, basic processing and reporting.

Apply basic ALLISA technical specifications, work procedures and work instructions in area of responsibility
● Perform tasks in accordance with basic Engineering principles and conduct basic plant troubleshooting
● Participate in failure/root cause analysis and recommend basic suggestions for improvement
● Responsible for information gathering, data accumulation, basic processing of information and reporting to Line Managers and First Line Supervisors
● Maintain reliability, integrity and availability of plant equipment
● Apply MOC knowledge and procedures and participate in punch out teams
● Ensure effective and efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders.
● Participate and provide support in small project implementation and management
● Align to the ALLISA Safety and Health strategy to achieve zero harm, notify and take action to mitigate risks identified during project planning and execution

Educational requirements


● National Diploma in Engineering / B.Tech in Engineering or equivalent


Experience
● One (1) year practical experience in an operational environment


Knowledge and Know-how specific to the job


● Must have knowledge and understanding of the Engineering discipline principles and design
● Must have a strong knowledge and understanding of Engineering drawings interpretation
● Must have knowledge and understanding of Project Management
● Must have knowledge and understanding of SAP, CMMS and the Google suite of products
