Room Service AssociateJob Description:
Room Service Associate-Food Services-Full-Time
Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients with meal selections and ensuring dietary needs are met.
Communicate with patients using Catering to your guidelines and scripting, offering menu choices within prescribed diet orders.
Assemble and deliver meal trays accurately and promptly, ensuring proper portion control, presentation, and diet compliance.
Coordinate with the Diet Office, Dietitians, and Nursing to ensure accuracy of patient diets and timely delivery of special requests.
Offer appropriate menu alternatives for patients with food allergies, cultural preferences, or modified diets.
Set up and arrange trays within patient reach, assisting with meal setup and providing courteous service during delivery.
Retrieve soiled trays in a timely manner, following infection control and sanitation procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to hospital safety, sanitation, and infection control policies.
Participate in training sessions, safety drills, and departmental meetings.
Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude and serve as a friendly representative of the Food & Nutrition Services team.
Requirements:
Food Handler Card or Servsafe Certificate (Preferred)
