Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Roadway Engineer I to join our team! In this role you will get to This role focuses on learning core engineering practices, contributing to project tasks, and supporting the team in delivering high-quality solutions on time.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Analyze and prepare roadway layout plans, Maintenance of traffic plans, Quantities/estimates, calculations and drawings for Highway and/or Expressway/Limited-Access facilities and Arterial/Local roads using DOT and/or local jurisdiction criteria, with guidance provided on assigned tasks as required.
• Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review
• Develop 3D Models of roadways, using Corridor Modeling in GEOPAK and/or Open Roads
• Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasks
• Communicate effectively with team members, internal design groups, and external entities including clients, subconsultants, and relevant government agencies
• Effectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties
• May assign, track, and review tasks of technicians or designers; technical discretion applied to first revision of technician work product

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) and 3+ years of related work experience
• MicroStation and/or ORD experience
• Microsoft Office
• Bluebeam

Salary Range: $62,300.00 - $109,000.00
