RN Triage Med Group Lead - Neuro

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Registered Nurse Triage (RN) Triage Medical Group Lead

  • Location: Elmhurst, IL

  • Full Time: 40 hours / week

  • Office Hours: Shifts vary Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. NO ON CALL OR HOLIDAYS.

What you will do:

  • Collaborates with Clinical Supervisor and Practice Manager to deliver quality care for assigned clinical area during all days and hours of operation. Provides supervision of staff in absence of the Clinical Supervisor.  Collaborates with Clinical Supervisor/Practice Manager to determine work priorities, prepare daily work assignments, and monitors compliance for regulatory requirements. Serves as a resource person for clinical staff in resolving operation and patient care problems, acts as physician liaison and role model for staff.  Functions within scope of responsibility of licensure.

What you will need:

  • Current Illinois RN licensure

  • Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA)

  • Office/Triage RN experience

  • BSN - preferred, NOT required

  • Self-starter, able to handle periods of high stress

  • Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting/bending/reaching/climbing and repetitive use of hands

  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry/push up to 20 lbs.

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, both written & verbal
