Pay Range

$28.05 - $42.10

  • Major Responsibilities:

    • Provides one on one supervision and mentorship of school nurse team. 

    • Completes monthly clinics audits. 

    • Maintains clinical competencies for clinical staff. 

    • Collaborates with Medical Director to maintain clinical safety and competency for all school services.

    • Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders in the school systems. 

    • Develops and maintains policies and procedures. 

    • Approves E-time via ADP. 

    • Trains current and new staff members. 

    • Completes annual Performance Evaluations. 

    • Completes hiring process for open positions. 

    Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

    • Current RN license in the State of Georgia  

    Education Required:

    • Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing 

         

    Experience Required:

    • Nursing experience in a school setting 

      

         

    Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

    Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries weight up to 50 pounds. Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols with vision and hearing within normal range to respond to Code alerts and equipment alarms. Work-related stress due to volume and time constraints with irregular working hours.

    Preferred Experience

    Knowledge in immunization, medication administration and Healthcare concerns in a school setting leadership experience with supervision and clinical oversite of clinical services and program development
