Scheduled Weekly Hours:
32Registered Nurse – General Surgery Clinic
Location: Heritage Building - 3rd Floor | La Crosse, Wisconsin
Schedule: Part-time, 64 hours per two weeks (0.8 FTE)
Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm
No weekends, holidays, or on-call obligations!
About the Role
Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our General Surgery Clinic team. This clinic-based role offers a predictable weekday schedule and meaningful hands-on experience in a collaborative outpatient setting. You'll play a key role in guiding patients through their surgical journey while working closely with an experienced team of surgeons and advanced practice clinicians.
What You Will Do
This position is very "hands-on" nursing focused:
Assist with wound vacs management, dressing changes, in-office procedures
Conduct pre- and post-operative patient education to support safe recovery
Perform telephone triage and assess patient concerns
Coordinate patient care
Collaborate with surgery clinicians in our newly renovated space on the 3rd floor of the Heritage building.

What You Need
Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing
Active, unencumbered Wisconsin RN license
Current Infant–Adult BLS for Health Care Providers (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Minimum of 1 year RN experience (clinic or surgical experience preferred)
