Join our Ophthalmology (Eye) Clinic team as a Registered Nurse providing specialized care for patients undergoing eye injections and diagnostic procedures. This role offers autonomy, collaboration with providers, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping preserve patients’ vision.

Location: La Crosse, WI (with outreach to Onalaska, WI and Winona, MN)

Hours: 0.8 FTE, 64 hours every two weeks

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What you will do:

  • Prepare patients for eye injections, including numbing and assisting providers during procedures.
  • Perform IV starts and administer dye for Fluorescein angiography.
  • Complete documentation and ensure injections meet insurance timing requirements.
  • Conduct patient phone calls and triage as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with ophthalmic assistants, technicians, and schedulers.
  • Outreach 2-3 times a month per nurse to Onalaska, WI and Winona, MN

What you need:

  • Current RN license to work in Wisconsin. RN license to work in Minnesota needed with in 90 days of hire
  • BLS for health care providers
  • Minimum of 1 year RN experience
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to meet patient needs
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
