Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a RN, Professional Development Nurse (Nurse Educator) to support the Onalaska, Sparta and Winona Urgent Cares. What you will do:

  • 1.0 FTE, salaried role

  • Lead nursing orientation, education, competency, and professional development for RNs and EMTs in the Urgent Care setting

  • Evaluate nursing practice, assess practice gaps, identify learning needs, participate in process improvement projects and initiatives both within area of responsibility and at the system level

  • Responsible for system projects and programs, and will work closely with several great teams:

    • Emergency Services Leadership Team (Clinical Operations Director, Managers, Clinical Nurse Leaders, Professional Development Nurse, Quality Nurse, and an Informatics Nurse)

    • A large group of 40+ Professional Development Nurses

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required

  • Master’s degree in Nursing required within 5 years

  • 2-3 years RN experience in Emergency Services or Urgent Care required

  • RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin and Minnesota upon hire

  • Basic Life Support CPR for Health Care Providers and ACLS
