What you will do:
1.0 FTE, salaried role
Lead nursing orientation, education, competency, and professional development for RNs and EMTs in the Urgent Care setting
Evaluate nursing practice, assess practice gaps, identify learning needs, participate in process improvement projects and initiatives both within area of responsibility and at the system level
Responsible for system projects and programs, and will work closely with several great teams:
Emergency Services Leadership Team (Clinical Operations Director, Managers, Clinical Nurse Leaders, Professional Development Nurse, Quality Nurse, and an Informatics Nurse)
A large group of 40+ Professional Development Nurses
What you need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
Master’s degree in Nursing required within 5 years
2-3 years RN experience in Emergency Services or Urgent Care required
RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin and Minnesota upon hire
Basic Life Support CPR for Health Care Providers and ACLS
