A caregiver in this role will work within a dedicated Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) that does not float outside the department. With three PACUs across different buildings, you will have the opportunity to care for a wide variety of surgical cases and critical care patients, excluding cardiac, vascular, and transplant procedures. Our PACUs support all other specialties—including General Surgery, ENT, Plastics, GYN, GU, Orthopedics, Livers and more—offering a dynamic and diverse clinical experience. As an RN in this collaborative team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals recovering from anesthesia, while also accessing professional growth opportunities such as a PeriAnesthesia Essentials Class for new caregivers, PeriAnesthesia Nursing Certification and Nursing Grand Rounds.
How You’ll Benefit
This is a full-time position. A caregiver in this role works a total of 36 hours per week between 11:00am to 11:30pm. Call rotations are required with a call window of 1 hour.
