RN Patient Care Advocate - Patient Experience

Job Description:
The Patient Care Advocate receives, handles, and responds to patient complaints/grievances and other needs. Serve as a liaison by listening to concerns, identifying opportunities for improvement, and seeking solutions through the appropriate administrative channels. Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient care and promote positive patient, family, physician, and caregiver communication. Serve as the Patient & Family Engagement (PFE) Coordinator, providing leadership to the Patient & Family Advisory Council (PFAC). Assist patients and the public with executing advance directives. Coordinate operational tasks related to the patient experience survey process
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in nursing, Communications, Business Administration, or other healthcare related field required.
Active RN license issued by the state of KY required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in patient advocacy, healthcare navigation/operations, or a related role within a hospital or healthcare setting.
Notary Public preferred upon hire, required within 90 days.
