Job Description:
-You will be in charge of organizing and providing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
-You will get to be a team leader and delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
- You will be part of something bigger. You'll contribute to meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and in turn serve the community in which you live.
-You will meet the requirements of the Joint Commission as applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

-Floor 11 is the Orthopedic, Trauma and Urology Unit or the “Bones and Stones” Team! This unit provides exceptional, patient centered care to a variety of surgical and medical patients. We are the only Level 1 trauma center north of Minneapolis, so we serve a wide geographical area.

- Orthopedic patients range from patients with a single broken bone, to poly traumas that have sustained multiple injuries. We also care for extremity vascular patients that have wounds and progress to interventions such as amputations. Urology patients also come in with a wide spectrum of issues such as hydronephrosis from kidney stones to patients who have had their bladder or kidney removed. This units supports the other medical surgical units with admissions.

Qualifications:
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire.
