Unit Details:
ThedaCare’s Orthopedic, Spine, and Pain (OSP) center is a comprehensive health center specializing in orthopedic, spine, and pain care dedicated to improving the patient experience. We are excited to strengthen our team by adding registered nurses to become a proactive partner in health by putting our patients first, making healthcare easier, and delivering quality, affordable care.
Input for the design of OSP was received from nursing teams because nurses are the experts in the care they provide. The overnight stay unit consists of 15 beds, a therapy gym, and activities of daily living apartment as well as ancillary services provided from lab, pharmacy, imaging, therapy, and dining. Team members utilize state of the art technology to keep patients and their families informed and up to date regarding the plan of care.
As a nurse on the overnight stay unit at OSP, you will make a difference in every patient’s relief and recovery by providing patient-centered care. Our nurses make teamwork and collaboration with other specialty areas and ancillaries a priority to achieve a high level of job satisfaction and serve as a reminder of why we do what we do. You will participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds with therapists, care managers, and providers to ensure your patient is set up for success at discharge.
OSP is in alignment with the vision and mission to improve the health of our communities and create value in everything we do. We continuously strive to unite in purpose, lead across communities, and empower each person through our lifeinspired movement. How can you inspire health in the lives of every member of our community?
