The J7-3 Cardiology Stepdown Unit specializes in medical support for populations managing conditions like myocardial infractions, chronic heart failure, dysrhythmia, pulmonary hypertension and others. This fast-paced unit provides nursing care to a select medical cardiac patient population which includes myocardial infarction, post cardiac intervention, chronic heart failure, dysrhythmia management, and pulmonary hypertension.
As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers with providing exceptional care to patients from initial introduction to discharge. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare education as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills.
A caregiver in this position works rotating day/night shifts from 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
