Exciting Leadership Opportunity: Clinical Supervisor for the Medical and Oncology Unit

Why This Role Matters

This position provides consistent leadership support across all shifts, enhancing team engagement and ensuring easy access to your next-level leader. Clinical Supervisors will be on the unit to problem-solve, address work needs, and respond to questions and concerns in real time.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead daily operations, collaborate closely with the Clinical Manager, and guide a team of caregivers on the Medical and Oncology Unit.

What you will do:

  • Work an hourly 0.9 FTE position, possible flexibility for a different fte
  • Positions will be primarily 12-hour day shifts, plus 8 hours of administrative time per pay period.
  • No more than every third weekend
  • Two holidays per year
  • Serve as Charge RN during scheduled shifts and ensure smooth daily operation of the unit
  • Serve in a day-to-day leadership role, supporting staff through problem-solving, sustaining change, and responding to ideas and concerns in real time
  • Support staff development, performance management, and adherence to quality standards
  • Provide follow-up on quality and safety events
  • Lead approximately 15 direct reports (RNs and/or CNAs) and manage performance

What you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years RN experience in med surg
  • Charge Nurse/Leadership Experience preferred
  • Minimum of an Associate degree in Nursing
  • RN license to work in Wisconsin
  • BLS for health care providers
  • ONS Chemotherapy Certification required within 1 year
