    What You’ll Do

    Coordinates Clinic Support Services clinical personnel and student education to ensure all training and education is met to float to various Provider Based Clinics. Maintains ability to work at all physician clinics in Professional Support. Responsible for assisting in the absence of the Clinic Operations Specialist for the coordination of the development of clinical practice guidelines between Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants and their collaborative/supervising physicians for all Professional Support clinics.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for training on all Registered Medial Assistants, LPNs, RNs, and WTI, Franklin Tech Students to ensure that the education needs are met daily for Provider-Based Clinics.

    • Responsible for clinical education every semester for the Medical Assistant, Apprentice Program.

    • Assists and Coordinates Annual Skills Lab for all RMAs, LPNs, RNs, with Professional Support.

    • Communicates with Clinic Support and Professional Support leadership, Providers and staff.

    • Exhibits ability to run reports for collaboratives as determined by management.

    • Acts as a resource to Professional Support clinical personnel. Coaches and develops others.

  • Knowledge:

    • Knowledge and proficiency in nursing standards, practice and patient care delivery.

    • Knowledge of auditing process and procedures.

    • Knowledge of computer programs, spreadsheets and applications.

    • Knowledge of medical staff polices, regulations, and procedures.

    Skills Abilities:

    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels.

    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

    • Effective time management on a daily basis.

    • Computer literacy, including the use of Microsoft Office products.

    • Ability to plan and implement processes and procedures to successfully reach goals.

    • Ability to identify opportunities to improve department performance and take action to implement ideas.

    Requirements:

    • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.

    • Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence. .

    • Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience

    • Strong experience with electronic health records.
