Akron General’s 5400 Oncology Unit provides care to cancer patients, trains caregivers to give therapy, and provides hands-on learning to achieve chemotherapy competency. As an RN, you will deliver exceptional care, throughout the patient care journey. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed. How You’ll Benefit
This RN position is part of Cleveland Clinic Akron General's Weekend Flex Option 12 Program and will require you to work two 12-hour shifts per weekend. “Flex Option Twelve” employees will be paid eighteen (18) hours for each twelve (12) hour weekend shift worked. This schedule allows caregivers to enjoy personal time during the week with family and friends and take care of any errands that will not interfere with a typical schedule.
A caregiver in this position works weekend nights Saturday/Sunday from 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., including holidays that fall on a weekend.
