State Street

RKS SQA Agile Testing Room Leader- Assistant Vice President

Princeton, New Jersey Full time

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an RKS SQA Agile Room team leader who will be testing projects while also managing the other SQA test resources assigned to support the room’s full project list.  This is a senior team role (Assistant Vice President) reporting directly to the RKS SQA Test Manager.
The person should be a business‑focused tester responsible for validating enhancements delivered to RKS (Record Keeping Services) — State Street’s middle‑office accounting and record‑keeping platform — by deeply understanding financial services workflows and the investment manager operating model and translating them into effective test coverage.

Why this role is important to us

The role is part of the Record Keeping Services (RKS) development team, specifically part of Software Quality Assurance, a functional testing requirement that is vital to RKS development.  State Street depends on RKS which underpins daily middle‑office and back‑office accounting operations for a large list of global investment managers.

This role is critical because accurate testing of RKS functionality requires strong business analysis skills, understanding how investment managers operate day‑to‑day, and ensuring that system changes correctly support accounting, operational, and regulatory processes before production deployment.  In addition, the role requires project management of the other test resources and projects assigned to your Agile room; this role is the SQA Agile team leader.

What you will be responsible for

As an RKS SQA Agile Testing Room Leader, you will:

  • Analyze and understand business requirements supporting financial services and investment manager operations, with a focus on middle‑office and back‑office accounting workflows.

  • Translate business and functional requirements into meaningful test scenarios that reflect real‑world operating models used by global investment managers.

  • The SQA leader assigns all testing support for the projects in your Agile room, manages that all projects are fully understood, test requirements are understood and the code delivery dates are met.

Create and execute functional test plans and assess edge cases across
