Riverside Health Medical Group is seeking a Full‑Time Urology Physician to join our established team at Riverside Urology Specialists in Newport News, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient‑centered environment with a respected, collegial group of experienced providers.

About the Practice

Riverside Urology Specialists offers comprehensive urologic care across the full continuum, supported by advanced technology and innovative treatment options, including:

• da Vinci robotic‑assisted surgery
• Minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic procedures
• Endoscopic stone surgery

Our board‑certified physicians provide individualized, high‑quality care focused on improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

Scope of Services

The practice manages a broad range of urologic conditions and procedures, including:

• Bladder Cancer
• Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH)
• Erectile Dysfunction
• Kidney Cancer
• Kidney Stones
• Low Testosterone
• Male Infertility
• Prostate Cancer
• Urinary Incontinence
• Nephrectomy
• Urogynecology
• Vasectomy

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of urologic conditions
• Perform surgical and procedural interventions consistent with specialty training
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and performance initiatives
• Adhere to Riverside Medical Group policies and professional standards

Education

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine

Licensure, Certification, and Credentials

• Active or eligible for Virginia medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• Current DEA registration (or eligible)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong clinical and surgical proficiency in urology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and quality outcomes
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team‑based environment
