Risk & Security Specialist

Contributes to business risk and control functions to ensure that ING's activities are in line with regulatory requirements and run smoothly in such a way that it can be demonstrated to the regulators and the outside world. Contributes to the integrity of ING's products, services, employees and compliance with respect to the outside world.

Your new challenge

We are looking for an expert in Information Risk & Security who possesses exceptional control knowledge across various IT Risk areas. This role will involve hierarchically reporting to the Head of Risk & Security of the Global Infrastructure domain and working together in team of Risk & security experts. The primary responsibility of this position will be to deliver risk and security control activities (not limited to) for our Global Infrastructure tribes. We are seeking someone with proven expertise in risk and security, coupled with an excellent set of analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. We believe this role is vital in ensuring our infrastructure remains secure and resilient. Roles and responsibilities

  • To be the Risk & Security control expert of the Global infrastructure domain and advise, work with the Global infrastructure tribes to be compliant to the controls from ING minimum standards (process control standard).
  • Will be responsible for assessing the IT Risk controls in different areas such as Change management, Identity and Access management, IT Resilience, and other control w.r.t Entity wide controls.
  • Performing risk assessments, Business Impact analysis (BIA) on IT assets and control assessments.
  • Work together with other members of the team to achieve the goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Global infrastructure tribes, 2nd line, and 3rd line as required.
  • Policy review, Process control standard review and give feedback and suggestions.

Your experience & Skills :

  • Proven track record in Risk & Security and IT control assessment.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Professional and intellectual IT ability at university level - at least a Bachelor's degree.
  • CISA or CISSP or other equivalent IT risk audit certifications is a pre-requisite.
  • Experience in a financial environment is a plus.
  • Agile in working hours (no 9-5 mentality)
  • Self-driven, proactive, and organized, with the ability to identify what needs to be done.
  • Results-oriented, and striving to deliver value-adding services and continuous improvement.
  • Strong team player who takes responsibility.
  • Strong problem solver to structure and improve complex situations.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written in English.
