As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of, and/or a proven record of success serving in a role within a client services environment that emphasizes project management with quality and risk management issues that include the following: day-to-day contracting matters, regulatory developments, new idea flow, engagement execution questions, review/oversight, and related functions and/or a proven record of success serving in a role within a client services environment that leverages a broad array of taxation issues clients across various markets encountered in day-to-day business. 

The ECR reviewer position  

The Tax Engagement Compliance Reviewer will perform the primary file reviews for the Firm’s Tax Engagement Compliance Review (ECR) Program. This program evaluates whether U.S. tax engagements comply with global and U.S. Tax Risk & Quality (R&Q) policies, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.

You will review completed (or substantially completed) tax engagements to assess how well engagement teams have complied with requirements in the areas of client acceptance, engagement acceptance, independence, contracting, and documentation. Using a standardized checklist and rating framework, you will identify non‑compliance, document findings, and support Tax R&Q leadership in evaluating engagement quality and risk. 

This position is central to the Firm’s quality and risk management framework and contributes to continuous improvement in tax engagement execution. 

As you evolve in this role, you will be involved in other review programs such as Office Reviews, Engagement Acceptance, special projects, contract reviews, and AI based projects. 

Knowledge Preferred: 

  • Graduates or advanced-level students in Accountancy, International Relations, Political Science, Law, or a related field. 
  • Advanced English oral and written is mandatory. 
  • Experience in Compliance is a plus. 
  • Experience working with documentation is required. 
  • Knowledge on Microsoft Office tools.  
  • AI enthusiasts are welcome.

  • Demonstrates a proven record of success in a professional role utilizing project management skills, especially the organization and follow-through on assignments with minimal supervision, as well as performing within a collaborative environment. 
  • Demonstrates a proven ability to produce and deliver verbal and written content and communications, with an attention toward business writing and grammatical correctness, to Partners and engagement teams and senior review team members. 
  • Minimum Year Professional Experience: 1
