Te tūranga – The role
As a Risk Business Partner, you will work closely with a variety of senior stakeholders to support how they manage risk by gaining a deep understanding of their goals and operating context. You will develop partnerships across a variety of stakeholders to drive a positive risk culture and ensure an effective and dynamic approach to enterprise risk management. As part of our important second line function, you will be involved in the continued evolution and improvement of how we manage risk to deliver on key strategic objectives.
Ō pūkenga – About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in internal audit or risk management or an advisory role in financial or professional services
A solid understanding of risk management principles and practices and their application to a changing business
Experience in determining practical risk mitigations and internal controls to manage gaps and weaknesses
Stakeholder engagement skills and ability to collaborate across all levels
A sound understanding of the financial sector and central banking would be helpful
