SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Land Analyst will provide critical support in maintaining the integrity of agreements and contracts acquired by the ROW department. This position will assist the Supervisor with the coordination of land, right of way and easement acquisitions. This includes but is not limited to detailed document package review, check processing and maintenance of payments, analysis of future obligations, document recording and records management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare, review, and process various types of Right of Way (ROW) Agreements and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness before execution, filing, and recording.
• Research, obtain, and update ROW agreements for current and newly acquired ROW assets, identifying and curing gaps in documentation, and working with ROW specialists on renewals.
• Review executed agreements for accuracy before sending them to the appropriate County for final recording.
• Extract payment obligations from executed agreements and facilitate setting up payment terms in SAP.
• Collaborate with the vendor maintenance team to ensure proper setup and ongoing management of private landowner and vendor accounts.
• Assist with ROW payments by reviewing agreement obligations, providing specific payment coding, and resolving W9 issues.
• Submit ROW documents to the Title and Contracts team for timely uploading and electronic record creation, including sending supporting and new documentation over the life of the agreement.
• Assist others on more important assignments and receive supervision and guidance from more experienced professionals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of related pipeline or ROW experience (contract land agent, in-house ROW or pipeline operations, title research or documentation) required.
