SEI is seeking to hire a Manager of Request for Proposal (RFP) Services. The Manager of RFP Services is responsible for supporting requests across SEI’s business lines for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and other associated requests. This pivotal role directly impacts SEI's growth and market position. You'll spearhead the management of a dedicated team to deliver comprehensive and compelling proposals for the SEI enterprise, driving strategic relationships and measurable growth within SEI's financial services landscape.
What you will do:
Lead a team of RFP writers responsible for managing the end-to-end RFP, RFI, and DDQ process for the enterprise.
Serve as the central project manager for all RFP’s, aligning cross-functional contributors, managing timelines and risks, and ensuring disciplined, on-time delivery of compelling responses.
Review, proofread, edit team proposals to ensure the compliance, accuracy, and message quality/impact of the final proposal.
Act as player/coach as needed.
Develop efficiencies within the RFP/DDQ process through prioritization and optimization, including but not limited to the adoption and socialization of A.I. tools.
Understand business goals and challenges to ensure proposals align with overall objectives.
Foster strong relationships with sales leadership, subject matter experts, and marketing to ensure timely and accurate completion of submissions.
Develop and maintain standard, branded proposal templates.
Develop a highly engaged team, providing mentorship, guidance, training, and support to nurture their skills.
Contribute to broader content marketing initiatives by transforming RFP insights and reusable content into scalable assets embedded across sales enablement tools and platforms.
Use data and feedback to identify opportunities for process improvement and lead subsequent change management.
Compile regular reporting of proposal activity, including volumes, outcomes, and business impact.
What we need from you:
Bachelor’s Degree and 6-10 years of professional RFP experience, preferably in financial services.
Strong leadership skills with an ability to coach, motivate, and influence others to support enterprise goals and objectives.
Proven track record in managing complex programs/projects, delivering multiple projects on time, and mentoring junior employees with positive outcomes.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, coupled with excellent project management and coordination skills.
Strong sense of accountability; excellent analytical skills, written and verbal communication, and project management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
