Develop and apply advanced Radio Frequency engineering theories, methods and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex technical problems and projects. You will plan and direct projects or major phases of projects and provide technical direction to and coordinate the efforts of engineers and technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects in areas such as design, development, and testing of radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave systems architecture, components, circuits, or products.


More About the Role:
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and analysis of satellite systems to insure proper operation and minimize downtime. 
  • Provide assistance to technicians and installers on an as needed basis to include 24/7 mission support.
  • Maintain and create documentation in accordance to ISO 9001 standards.
  • Provision and test systems and equipment prior to shipment in order to minimize any on site delay and provide quality assurance.
  • Configure and maintain remote monitoring and control software, utilizing custom and commercially available tools.
  • Perform analysis of measured data, in order to modify network design and enhance performance.
  • Devise test plans, test site scheduling, equipment calibration and setup, RF signal measurement and data analysis.
  • Measure field data to identify RF signals frequencies and respective powers and detect any deviation or possible interference.
  • Compiles and evaluates test data, prepares technical analysis, recommends methods and processes required to meet design objectives on new or improved products and/or processes.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and requirements.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently or in a group setting.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
  • 6 years of experience in RF or SATCOM engineering
  • Technical responsibilities including testing, analysis, and troubleshooting
  • Independent work with limited supervision
  • Ability to manage projects and testing processes
  • TS/SCI w/ poly is required

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$86,600 - $181,800
