The Rewards Enablement Trainee provides operational, analytical, and system support across global rewards activities, including compensation, benefits, and job architecture. The role focuses on data preparation, system updates, documentation, and process execution under close guidance. This position supports day‑to‑day delivery while building foundational knowledge of enterprise rewards processes and HR systems.
Key Accountabilities
Support maintenance and updates of benefits and compensation data across platforms such as Mercer BYG, Market Pay, and Workday.
Support job evaluation activities for junior‑level roles, including data preparation, documentation, and validation, under defined guidelines.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of job profiles for assigned regions, ensuring alignment with approved standards and structures.
Maintain and update HR system data (e.g., Workday), including job data updates, custom object maintenance, and basic data audits.
Deliver one defined enhancement or automation improvement initiative during the traineeship period, under guidance.
Maintain and update Knowledge Management (KM) documentation, SOPs, and process guides in line with process changes and continuous improvements.
Support updates to employee‑facing rewards and benefits content on internal portals and digital platforms.
Support process improvement and automation efforts, including testing, documentation, and data validation activities.
Assist with other operational and project‑based work as assigned.
Required Skills & Capabilities
Strong planning and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Comfortable working with technology and digital platforms; quick to learn new tools and systems.
Good analytical skills with an interest in data, dashboards, and insights.
Ability to leverage AI tools for analysis, documentation, automation ideas, and productivity improvements.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong follow‑through.
Clear written communication skills with the ability to document processes effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA / PGDM in HR, HR Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
Exposure to Benefits, HR Operations, or Total Rewards is an added advantage.
Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and web‑based tools.
