The RGM Data Engineer Intern will join the Data Science & Engineering team within the RGM Capabilities & Insights group. This role will involve supporting business objectives of different teams, optimizing finance performance review, tracking routines, managing business performance, and planning key RGM processes. Projects assigned will include dimensional pricing analytics; developing automated submission/approval tools; data harmonization; and data visualization. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced consumer goods industry, working with a global leader in the beverage sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and implementing data pipelines using tools such as Databricks and Spark.

  • Support ETL processes and integrate data from multiple sources into centralized repositories.

  • Help maintain and optimize data warehouses and database performance.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and data scientists on data harmonization, feature engineering, and visualization for executive reporting.

  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and testing of data processes.

  • Troubleshoot data quality issues and implement solutions.

  • Contribute to data governance and compliance initiatives.

  • Provide forward thinking insights from industry/economics analysis/trend identification.

Educational Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, a Statistical area or have graduated from their degree program no earlier than December 2025.

Related Experience

  • Background in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Systems

  • Understanding of the CPG industry preferred.

  • Previous internship or project experience in data engineering, data analytics, business intelligence, or process improvement is preferred.

  • Hands-on projects using Python and SQL to ingest, transform, and validate medium-to-large datasets.

  • Participation in team-based development using Git/GitHub (branching, pull requests, code reviews).

Functional Skills

  • Strong collaboration, technical, analytical, and data visualization skills with the ability to conduct deep-dive analysis

  • Strong communication skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI; python and statistical modeling

  • Experience in process improvement and operational efficiency

  • Proficient in SharePoint management

  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Collaborate with RGM teams to analyze market trends, sales performance, and pricing strategies.

  • Assist in the development of forecasting models and reports that drive revenue growth strategies.

  • Support the team in preparing presentations and data-driven insights for leadership.

  • Strong collaboration, technical, analytical, and data visualization skills with the ability to conduct deep-dive analysis on large datasets.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Ability to manage and organize documentation using SharePoint and version control tools like GitHub.

  • Support the team in preparing presentations and actionable insights for leadership.

Compensation

  • Monthly Salary (undergraduate): $4,506

  • Monthly Salary (graduate): $6,066
