The Role: Senior Software Developer (Salesforce Developer)
The Team:
We are responsible for the management and improvements of the Business Applications that drive S&P Global. Our team operates across many internal applications from Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Oracle ERP, Data Warehouse, Internal Fulfillment Systems and Workflow tools. You will have the opportunity every single day to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and to develop a close team dynamic with coworkers from around the globe.
The Impact:
As a Salesforce Revenue Cloud specialist who works in our Revenue Cloud Business System Analyst role you will use your extensive Salesforce Platform skills experience to help lead and improve the S&P Global Salesforce Platforms. You will make strategic decisions on the future state of the platform, as well as lead large Platform wide projects on CPQ and Billing projects.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—Sales, Pricing, Order Management, Billing, Product Owners to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
Serve as a subject matter expert in Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud, guiding solution architecture and platform strategy.
Administer and enhance Salesforce environments: Lightning App Builder, Flows, Process Builders, validation rules, dashboards, reports, and custom objects.
Lead testing cycles and manage deployment of updates using tools like Copado Robotics Testing and version control systems.
Assist data migration efforts using Fusekit, Demandtools, and Informatica.
Analyze and optimize Order-to-Cash processes, identifying automation opportunities through AI and machine learning.
Contribute to AI-powered enhancements such as predictive analytics, intelligent workflows, and chatbot integrations within Salesforce.
Support integration efforts using Salesforce APIs and ensure seamless connectivity with ERP and third-party systems.

Drive data migration efforts using Demandtools, Fusekit, and Informatica.
Analyze and optimize Order-to-Cash processes, identifying automation opportunities through AI and machine learning.
Contribute to AI-powered enhancements such as predictive analytics, intelligent workflows, and chatbot integrations for Order to Cash processes.
Support integration efforts using Salesforce APIs and ensure seamless connectivity with ERP and third-party systems (Vertex, HighRadius, Payment Portals, etc).
Coordinate QA, UAT, and Go-Live activities, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder alignment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
3–5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst, preferably in Revenue Cloud implementations (Steelbrick, or Revenue Cloud Advanced).
Certified in at least two of the following credentials: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Business Analyst, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, CPQ and Billing Consultant Accredited Professional, Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist, Salesforce Certified Revenue Cloud Consultant, or similar.
Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration: workflows, approval processes, formulas, page layouts, record types and CPQ product structure and automation capabilities.
Strong Understanding how Salesforce Billing is configured and potential pitfalls with upstream CPQ configurations (Proration issues, ACV misalignment, etc).
Experience delivering Agile/Scrum projects end-to-end and the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC).
Familiarity with deployment tools (Copado, Prodly, Salesforce CLI) and continuous integration environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Exposure to AI tools and concepts such as: Salesforce Einstein or other AI-powered CRM features, Predictive analytics and forecasting, Natural language processing (NLP) for chatbots or virtual assistants
Willing to extend into night-hours to support key projects and month-end close activities related to financial systems.
Preferred Skills
Experience with AI-enhanced Salesforce features (e.g., Einstein Bots, AWS Bedrock, etc ).
Knowledge of automated deployment and version control best practices.
Ability to design and implement intelligent workflows using AI and automation.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of Payment Systems on Salesforce, HighRadius, RightRev (Revenue Reconciliation), Vertex Tax Integrations, Conga CLM.
Experience contributing to a Salesforce CPQ COE, Configuration workbook, etc.
