    We’re looking for a service driven and passionate Revenue Assurance Officer to join our Community Performance and Enablement team on a full time basis.  Are you someone who want to make the world a little better through small moments that leave big impacts.     Your part in the team

    The purpose of the Revenue Assurance Officer is to undertake high quality, efficient and effective revenue assurance processes to maintain accurate client records through timely and accurate account management bank and account reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies whilst providing a high level of customer service to clients and their families in line with UnitingCare organisational values.

     Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

     

    • Perform daily financial transactions verifying, calculating and posting accounts receivable journals.
    • Perform daily receipting per bank deposits and allocation of customer accounts completed for al receipts per remittance advice.
    • Process data entry required for production of client invoices and statements, maintain internal controls appropriate to ensure effective invoice creation and identify irregularities in data, investigate and bring to the attention of the Team Lead.
    • Provide feedback to the Lead on transactions that have been incorrectly processed or missing and need to be considered for accrual for month end close completeness.
    • Prepare and process journals for billing and adjustments.
    • Prepare and process refunds and review and process credit notes requests
    • Undertake regular review of customer data to ensure accurate customer records are maintained relevant policy and established business processes.

     

    What makes a difference for us?

    • Previous experience in finance claims and high billing– Highly regarded.

    • Great time-management skills and an ability to prioritise your workload.

    • Good knowledge and experience with MS Office and Database applications.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.

    • Proactive, problem solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

    • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads with a can-do attitude.
