Job Description
The Revenue Analyst position reports to the Revenue Integrity Manager in a leadership role to provide reporting and analytical support, and coordination for charge projects to ensure complete, accurate, timely, and compliant charge processing. This position will understand the charging methodologies in place, ensure they are properly documented and conduct system-wide complex analyses to ensure compliant charging. This includes working directly with Revenue Integrity Liaisons, ICCE leadership, Compliance, revenue cycle and information services (IS/IT) to develop processes which are designed to optimize and support departmental charge processes, mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and eliminate waste. The Revenue Analyst position also focuses on the maximization of collections through the accurate and complete capture of all charges as well as the implementation and maintenance of charge capture processes. Engages and provides direct communication to clinical leaders in the alignment of processes with government, payor, and internal charge capture policies and provides education and feedback. This position leads and participates in complex projects related to revenue cycle initiatives, which includes the optimization of revenue, reimbursement and denial prevention. This includes mentoring and coaching Revenue Integrity Liaisons on engaging leaders in monitoring activities, highlighting trends, and recommending opportunities for workflow improvements.
