Job Summary

The Retention Specialist is the primary point of contact for the company’s Medicare house accounts without an active agent. This role answers incoming calls, assists clients with general questions, provides basic policy information, and supports plan updates as needed. The position also supports retention efforts by delivering timely, accurate service and helping clients navigate coverage changes smoothly.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls and assist Medicare house accounts without assigned agents.
  • Provide basic Medicare policy information and guide clients through plan updates or changes.
  • Support retention through inbound and outbound calls, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Build rapport and deliver professional, solution-focused service on every call.
  • Accurately enter and update client and company records.
  • Respond promptly to emails and follow up on client inquiries.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, and other tasks as needed.
  • Help maintain efficient, organized office operations and a positive client experience.

Qualifications

  • Active Life and Health insurance license required.
  • Medicare sales experience with strong knowledge of Medicare products.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven customer service and/or sales experience, ideally in Medicare insurance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional phone presence.
  • Comfortable explaining coverage options and assisting with plan changes.
  • Skilled in client retention by identifying needs and offering effective solutions.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Proficient with CRM systems, phone systems, and standard office technology.

  • Accurately answering client questions and explaining Medicare policies.
  • Efficiently assisting with plan updates while ensuring compliance.
  • Proactively supporting retention and strengthening client relationships.
  • Keeping accurate records and timely follow-up.
  • Positively contributing to team goals and client satisfaction.

Pay: $22 / hr
