Your New Role
Oxford Street is about to become home to a flagship shop that redefines the retail experience. Our official Harry Potter Shop will blend iconic storytelling with world‑class retail standards, creating a destination that delights fans from around the world.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and people‑focused Team Leader to support the day‑to‑day running of our flagship store. This is a hands‑on, shopfloor‑based leadership role, where you’ll coach, motivate and support a large front‑line team to deliver exceptional service across both shopfloor and back‑of‑house areas.
Harry Potter Shop Oxford Street sits alongside world‑class attractions and retail experiences including Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo, Harry Potter Shop King’s Cross, and flagship stores in New York, Chicago and Harajuku.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Run the shopfloor and back‑of‑house areas on shift, ensuring clear priorities, effective deployment and smooth workflows throughout the day.
• Maintain a strong physical presence on the shopfloor, responding quickly to trading demands, queues, replenishment needs and guest issues.
• Coordinate shopfloor and stockroom activity to ensure product availability, efficient stock movement and minimal disruption to trading.
• Set and maintain standards across service, presentation, cleanliness and safety, addressing issues immediately and constructively.
• Lead and direct colleagues during peak periods, reallocating resources as needed to support customer flow and operational demands.
• Coach colleagues in the moment, reinforcing service expectations, product knowledge and brand behaviours.
• Support onboarding and buddying of new starters, ensuring they can confidently operate in both shopfloor and back‑of‑house environments.
• Act as first point of escalation for operational issues, resolving where possible and escalating appropriately.
• Champion health & safety, loss prevention and compliance, ensuring procedures are followed at all times.
Skills & Qualifications
• Experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or Senior Sales Assistant in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Passion for coaching, developing and motivating others.
• Strong customer‑service focus with confidence leading large teams.
• Great communication skills and a proactive, hands‑on leadership style.
• Experience across both shopfloor and back‑of‑house operations.
• Comfortable using POS and retail systems.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, on a seven-day rota including weekends and Bank Holidays.
Working hours are between 7am and 10pm.
