The Function & Team 

This role sits within the Retail Strategy team and works closely with teams across the business to develop and align the strategy for retail fundraising.  The team sits within the wider Distribution team which focuses on raising and retaining assets under management (AUM) to drive business growth. They provide innovative financial solutions for advisers and clients, building relationships founded on trust, transparency, and integrity. The Retail Strategy team is currently a team of 5.   

The Role  

The Retail Strategy Director plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing Triple Point’s retail distribution strategy. Partnering closely with the Chief Commercial Officer – Retail Distribution, Head of Distribution, and cross-functional teams, the role ensures that products, propositions and market activities align with adviser needs, regulatory expectations and business growth objectives. 

The role is responsible fordistribution strategy development, product enhancements, go-to-market planning, sales enablement, and digital capability improvements.  

Key Responsibilities 

Distribution Strategy 

  • Contribute to the annual fundraising and distribution plan.  
  • Prepare analysis and insight on distribution channels, flows and adviser relationships.  
  • Support agreement of strategic product placement and alignment with target markets.  
  • Coordinate inputs to OpCo packs alongside the Chief Commercial Officer – Retail Distribution and Head of Distribution.  
  • Track the sales budget and key commercial performance metrics.  

Product Enhancements 

  • Support identification of new product opportunities and enhancements informed by adviser, and customer insight.  
  • Coordinate activities at the point of product launch, ensuring documentation, processes and internal communications are in place.  

Taking New Products to Market 

  • Coordinate the go-to-market plan for new products with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Digital. 

Review product literature and sales messaging. Product Strategy 

  • Support Product and Investment teams to shape and maintain product roadmaps. 
  • Translate product initiatives into clear actions, timelines and stakeholder responsibilities. 
  • Track roadmap progress and highlight risks, issues or dependencies. 

Sales Team Support 

  • Act as a key point of contact for Sales on product-related messaging and adviser communication. 
  • Prepare and maintain sales aids, FAQs and briefing materials. 

Product Training 

  • Design and deliver product training to the Distribution team and internal stakeholders. 
  • Maintain up-to-date training materials and support onboarding from a product perspective. 

Regulatory Alignment 

  • Ensure sales collateral and product messaging meets regulatory standards and internal policies. 
  • Act as an operational liaison for Compliance and Risk on product processes and controls. 
  • Maintain MI and documentation to evidence good governance. 

Digital 

  • Work with Digital to define requirements for adviser portals, online tools and customer journeys. 
  • Support testing and rollout of digital enhancements. 
  • Review usage insights and recommend improvements.
