Skechers is undergoing a major retail transformation, implementing new retail platforms and systems across multiple countries. We're seeking a skilled professional to join our IT team and support our testing initiatives across various retail technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Review requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
- Create, maintain, and upgrade test plans, test scripts as well as analyze test cases and provides regular progress reports.
- Perform all testing activities including functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of Retail Point-of-Sale (POS) system/other IT systems for our global locations.
- Update and maintain the automation for new features on POS. Review Automation results and log/follow up on defects.
- Identify, isolate, regress and communicate bugs effectively and efficiently.
- Log defects in a detailed, understandable, and reproducible way
- Track all assigned defects through closure.
- Generate and publish daily defect reports from Test/Defect Management Tool.
- Work with the team in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Actively participate in Scrum meetings and provide QA estimate to calculate Story Points during planning phase.
- Publish daily status reports or help update existing reports.
- Ensure that all regression and daily testing activities required by the Retail POS team are completed in a timely fashion.
- Track testing metrics like test coverage, defect densities and open defect counts
- This position is not remote and will require a regular commute to the office. Some amount of remote work will be approved on a case-to-case basis.
Job Requirements
- 4-5 years’ experience in manual and automated testing.
- Experience in Web, API, mobile testing.
- Knowledge of MySQL/SQL/Postgres or any other DDL (Data Definition Language)
- Experience liaising with groups of people across several geographies.
- Experience with JIRA, Service Now, Zephyr or other ticketing platforms
- Experience in deriving the test estimates, test planning, scheduling, and reporting,
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Detail oriented tester with creative problem-solving skills who can often work independently with little supervision and as part of a team.
- Ability to work with any of the following technical skills:
- Selenium, UFT, Web driver, AccelQ
- Jira, Zephyr, Confluence
- ServiceNow
- JavaScript, XML, JSON
- SQL queries
- Experience in integration testing with 3rd party and in-house applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience working with clients during User acceptance Testing is a nice to have.
- Prior experience in testing Retail Point-of-Sale (POS) testing ideally with APTOS (Store6 & Aptos ONE) or Oracle Xstore, MA SIM or other similar products is a plus.
The pay range for this position is $105,000-$125,000/yr USD.
