Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as a Retail/Specialty Pharmacist. This role will be great for someone that has a passion for pharmacy and great customer service for our patients we serve. This specific position will work from the UNL Pharmacy in Lincoln, NE.

Working with the healthcare team, prepare, dispense, and distribute medication and provide clinical monitoring and drug information in a manner, which ensures optimal patient care. Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations pertaining dispensing and maintenance of records. Provide direction and assist with organization of daily activities.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possess a Bachelor or Master of pharmacy degree with 10 years of experience required.
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Nebraska or jurisdiction in which pharmacy practice is conducted required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certificatiom as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).

Ability to communicate effectively with hospital staff and patients required.
Demonstrate basic computer skills and use of typical office equipment required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Outpatient hospital pharmacy experience or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year one residency preferred.
• Experience with hospital EMR and pharmacy applications preferred.
• Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) certification as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice preferred.
