CASETiFY is looking for professionals who is responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of retail operations across multiple locations on a global scale. They ensure consistent implementation of operational strategies, policies, and procedures to drive efficiency, maximize sales, and enhance the overall customer experience. The Global Retail Operations Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, including store managers, regional managers, and various corporate departments, to achieve operational excellence and support the growth and profitability of the retail business.
Job Description
Develop and implement global retail operational strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent and efficient store operations.
Collaborate with senior leadership to establish operational goals, targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for retail operations.
Provide guidance, support, and training to regional managers and store managers on implementing operational strategies, standards, and best practices.
Monitor and analyze key operational metrics, including sales performance, inventory management, customer satisfaction, and store productivity.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, and develop and implement action plans to address them.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards across all retail locations, maintaining consistency and quality of operations.
Conduct regular store visits to assess operational compliance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide feedback to store managers.
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Logistics teams to ensure efficient inventory management, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment processes.
Monitor and address customer feedback and complaints related to operational matters, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in retail operations, and incorporate relevant insights into operational strategies.
Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives related to operational improvements, new store openings, store remodels, and process enhancements.
Collaborate with the Finance department to develop and manage retail operational budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize cost management.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork within the retail operations teams, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Lead and communicate effectively with the sales team, and take responsibility for team building, coaching, training, and staff development.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in retail operations management, preferably in a global or multi-location retail environment.
Strong knowledge of retail operations, including store operations, inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
Excellent understanding of retail KPIs and performance metrics, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to drive operational improvements.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams across different regions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver projects on schedule.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing effective solutions.
Knowledge of retail industry trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape, with the ability to adapt strategies accordingly.
Familiarity with retail technologies and systems, such as point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management systems, and workforce management tools.
Experience in managing budgets, conducting financial analysis, and implementing cost control measures.
