The North American Retail Media Planning Specialist is a part of The Global Digital and Loyalty team directly reporting into the Retail Media Manager.
This pivotal role will focus on driving revenue growth through strategic media sales, leveraging our growing digital out-of-home and instore solutions to engage key CPG clients and their agencies. Join us in growing Circle K's digital platforms to deliver exceptional value to both our advertising partners and our loyal customer base.
As part of our team, you will:
- Take part in the evolution of a quickly growing, exciting arm of the Circle K business
- Get a chance to influence and develop on the strategic digital transformation within Circle K retail media network (RMN)
- Work on challenges across the whole footprint of Circle K stores within the US and Canada.
What You Will Do

As Retail Media Planning Specialist, you will be instrumental in supporting the larger Retail Media Team in activating omnichannel media campaigns across the North American market for Circle K.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategy Development: Planning media placements to drive sales growth and maximize value for vendor partner programs.
- Performance Storytelling: Partner with data analytics team to craft engaging, client-friendly narratives that demonstrate the impact of retail media efforts and support revenue generating recommendations.
- Sales Growth: Assist sales team with forward facing client proposals, media plans, and campaign presentations.
DAY TO DAY:
- Develop media plans and create insertion orders, ensuring alignment with client objectives through sales team, RMN package offerings, and operational requirements.
- Gather and organize necessary creative assets and campaign elements for successful launch of RMN efforts.
- Coordinate communication between internal departments (e.g., marketing, finance, creative) to ensure smooth campaign activation.
- Collaborate with the creative services teams to ensure campaign deliverables are activated correctly.
- Provide proactive updates to stakeholders on campaign performance, delivery, and optimizations.
- Assist with preparing and delivering post-campaign analysis reports.
- Research potential improvements and expansions opportunities for RMN package offerings
- Perform other duties and special assignments as needed to support departmental operations and organizational priorities.
What You Need
We want you to join our team! Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
- 1-2 years media planning or advertising experience
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Be able to adapt to rapidly changing environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Ideal candidate would be a self-starter and comfortable working cross functionally and as part of a team.
- Maintain a positive team attitude and professional demeanor.
- Is fluent in English, both oral and written
