SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Retail Marketing Development Manager will be responsible for improving the overall retail market position and competitiveness of the retail business in the Saudi through different programs and initiatives by closely working with all the retail stake holders and alignment with Decorative retail segment, product or solutions portfolio by building in-depth knowledge and understanding of the customer needs, requirements and the market situation, leading to achieve profitable growth and materialising innovations solving customer needs in accordance with segment and category strategies/budget.

This position is based at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and will report to the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and manage the retail programs, Solutions and implement campaigns, launches, innovations, similar based on market analysis, competitor monitoring, and customer insight within assigned areas of responsibility to promote the best shopping experience in retail shops and attract, engage and motivate customers to buy Jotun products.

  • Drive retail segment solution and leverage business potential through Jotun Way, Master Painter Loyalty Program and Jotun shop concept to enhance stakeholder experience and drive growth in the business.

  • Take initiatives and drive retail innovation to achieve growth and business results in Saudi and continuously enhance customer shopping experience by enabling the Jotun shops with selling and inspirational tools and the latest product/colour launches.

  • Manage and further develop relationship with key furniture and home improvement stores to get appropriate representation in their stores and drive footfall to our stores.

  • Develop and roll out the different programs for key stakeholders in the retail channel (home- owners /dealers/painters/professionals) including ensure that the necessary marketing materials (products, systems, and communication packages) are in place.

We are looking for:

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing is preferable.

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in Retail Sales and Marketing field.

  • Fluency in Arabic & English – both verbally and written.

Location - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
