An exciting new opportunity has been created for an experienced Retail Learning and Development Partner to join the Bondi Fashion business.

ABOUT THE JOB

In line with the Fashion and Watches and Fine Jewellery strategies and business priorities, the Retail Learning & Development Partner (RLDP) develops the Fashion Advisor of tomorrow with capabilities beyond products, to excel in client experience and retail excellence.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Retail Learning Development Partner, you are empowered to bring passionate connection between the fashion advisor, clients and Chanel.

The RLDP elevates the Fashion Advisor learning journey by customizing learning solutions, coaching and monitoring progress, and consequently creating impact on client experience and business results. You will support development of the retail business by supporting the individual development of the Fashion Advisor to raise capability, improve performance and grow potential.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Translate and transfer classroom learning into POS executions to strengthen client experience, raise capability and improve performance.

  • Elevate learning journey by identifying needs, curating and customizing learning solutions (coaching, on-site training, digital learning etc) on products, services, client experience and retail topics.

  • Support People Development and work closely with People and Organization (HR), Retail Managers, Head of Boutique and Deputy Head of Boutique to develop individual development plans for the retail teams as appropriate.

  • Support on-boarding of new Fashion Advisors by leveraging on the digital platform and other available tools to assimilate them into the new environment and coach them on products, selling skills and client experience.

  • Share best practices, key observations and individual boutique strategies with the retail leadership team and People and Organization team to define learning interventions and adaptations.

  • Participate in people development discussions with retail leadership and People and Organization.

 WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Expert knowledge in people development skills and retail leadership, with an excellent understanding of learning pathways and development planning, preferably within the fashion retail/luxury retail space.

  • Professional image to lead as a role model in being a Retail Learning Development Partner.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, combined with the ability to interact strategically and operationally with a broad range of stakeholders.

  • Experience in designing personalized learning paths and curating training content with a good understanding of organizational behavior and training in adult education principles.

  • Solid knowledge of Fashion, understanding of brand DNA, arts and culture, with an excellent understanding of how this comes together for the luxury client an advantage.
