Your New Role…

The Retail & Consumer Products Placement Interns will support the delivery of Retail Sales Revenue through best-in-class marketing, planning and execution of activations, as well as through partnerships with various consumer brands.

There are a variety of Placement positions within the Retail & Consumer Products division, therefore the below job description is not exhaustive of all activities you may undertake during your internship.  

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Supporting cross-divisional collaboration, joining the dots across all relevant business units and departments in the UK. 
  • Support the Retail Team and assist in the planning and execution of retail activations across all retail channels.
  • Elevate our engagement with top-tier grocery, specialist, and e-commerce retailers—such as Tesco, Amazon, ASDA, The Entertainer, HMV and Smyths Toys—by delivering exceptional, tailored pitches and PowerPoint presentations under the guidance of your line manager and department lead.  
  • Managing the EMEA contracts admin process, drafting and uploading deal paperwork for internal approval.  
  • Compile updated franchise, category and creative information to formulate regular retail and licensee newsletters.
  • Monitoring the marketplace and competitor activity including store-checking across a range of retailers, providing summaries of key highlights & learnings.
  • Support the Customer Marketing team for all WB organised Retail Days and Retail Conferences.  
  • Conduct regular store visits and filter key learnings and information to Customer Marketing, monitoring and evaluating both Warner and competitive activity, providing timely input into the weekly Customer Marketing meetings. 
  • Carrying out day-to-day admin tasks to support department.  

Qualifications & Experience…

  • You must be a current University student in your 2nd year of study, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2028.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter who uses initiative to support the team.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and organisation skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook) 
  • Passionate about trends and an interest in global consumer brands & content.

The Internship…

  • Salary: £27,000 p/a 
  • Contract Length: 12 months  
  • Start Date: 6th July 2026
  • You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.
  • You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakers’ series, special screenings and more.
  • You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices, meaning you will have an important support network of other students, graduates and apprentices and plenty of opportunities to socialise!

  • Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday 1st February (you will not be able to apply after this date).
  • Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 8th February.
  • Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interview via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in February.
  • Stage 4: Assessment Centres & Interviews will take place in April.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
