The role:
This position plays a key part in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the daily operations of The Salvation Army’s Nambour Family Store. The role involves a range of retail and warehouse duties that contribute to the smooth running of the store and the achievement of the organisation’s mission objectives.
How you will make an impact:
Deliver outstanding customer service and provide assistance to shoppers on the shop floor, at fitting rooms, the register, or in other areas as required.
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of in-store marketing and promotional activities.
Assist with receiving, sorting, and processing donations to ensure adequate stock levels on the shop floor, with correct pricing and presentation.
What you will bring:
Demonstrated experience in customer service within a retail environment, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Supervisory experience in a retail or similar setting will be highly regarded.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage positively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Reasonable level of physical fitness to meet the operational requirements of the role.
