As a Responsible AI Consultant, you will have a key role to play in building out and delivering PwC’s expertise on cutting-edge topics around how to interpret and implement in practice new legislative, regulatory and ethical frameworks and requirements covering data and AI, e.g. the EU AI Act. This is a full-time role for a person with a demonstrable interest and knowledge in areas surrounding digital technology, governance, compliance and strategy. Patrik is the team manager leading consulting services and being responsible for the Data Strategy, Management & Ethics team. Patrik studied at University of Kent and dedicated his early career to development of analytics and business intelligence before transitioning to advisory roles. In recent years, Patrik worked with some of Europe's largest organisations: supported an Energy client in the Netherlands; advised a major Retailer in Sweden; and built a strategy for a smart city in Saudi Arabia. Patrik enjoys free time with his family and stays active trail running, and walking his dog Molly.
As a key member of the Trust over AI team at PwC, based in the Czech Republic, we are seeking a Senior Associate for the role of Responsible AI Consultant. This role involves working on business development and delivery of services related to AI governance, risk, compliance, and technical validation. You will be working with our largest Czech and Global clients, navigating the ever-changing landscape of AI and digital regulation. You will:
Develop and implement AI governance, risk and compliance strategies for our clients.
Actively work on identifying new clients and opportunities and performing business development activities.
Prepare, plan and deliver client projects in AI governance, risk and compliance topics.
Translate legal, policy and standard requirements into concrete actions, guidelines, and processes and know-how that you can use to implement these requirements to concrete technical solutions or organizational contexts.
Ensure the quality of AI systems and provide training and education to clients.
Collaborate cross-industry and cross-data on digital subjects to help clients build trusted AI systems.
Track and understand key technological developments, their capabilities and limitations, and how they affect PwC and our clients.
Help clients with AI use-case discovery, prioritisation, implementation and adoption, as well as design operating models and processes, risk management frameworks, controls, and data management strategies.
Work with other PwC teams to respond to client’s needs in AI area.
Work with an international team of consultants and developers on end-to-end subjects related to data and AI trust, governance, design, strategy, and development.
Demonstrate a proactive attitude and initiative to capture new opportunities you see and gain ownership and recognition for your work.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience (education in the fields of law, public policy, sociology, social sciences, or a degree in business and IT, data science, information management or adjacent subjects).
Minimum of three years of experience in data, AI, application, governance, policy, or another relevant field.
Proven experience in business development and delivery of services related to AI.
Ability to understand and analyse laws, regulations, standards or frameworks and deliver concrete requirements, explanations and insights in a focused and clear manner to a broad range of stakeholders
Strong understanding of AI and digital regulation landscape.
Experience in designing operating models, process design, risk management frameworks, and controls.
Proficiency in data management, governance, quality, and strategy.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build relationships across cultures and hierarchies
Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple priorities.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage your own time and priorities, as well as foresight to identify potential opportunities and work with your team members on the best ways to approach them
Curiosity about new technologies and their governance in theory and practice. Interest in applying legal and ethical requirements to technology or organisational contexts in the real world.
Professional fluency in English; fluency in spoken and written Czech is a plus.
