About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist with Apria in Columbus, Ohio, you’ll provide essential respiratory care, equipment setup, troubleshooting, and patient education across a blended work environment. The role requires strong patient-care skills, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt between office-based responsibilities and field visits.

You’ll work within a tight-knit, tenured, drama-free team, reporting directly to the General Manager. This branch values teamwork, professionalism, and a supportive culture. The RT team also occasionally assists with Driver duties when needed.

Key Highlights

  • Work Arrangement: 70% office / 30% road

  • Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (flexible)

  • Driving Radius: Typically, 30–40 minutes; up to 1.5 hours one way

  • Additional Duties: May assist with Driver tasks if willing

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday

  • Standard hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (flexible)

  • Alternating on-call every 2 weeks

  • Mix of office responsibilities and patient home visits

Salary Range

  • $31 – $34 per hour, based on experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform new patient setups for CPAP, BiPAP, ventilators, and oxygen.

  • Provide troubleshooting, education, and clinical support to patients and families.

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in both office and home-based settings.

  • Document all interactions, equipment setups, and follow-ups accurately.

  • Collaborate with the branch team to deliver seamless service.

  • Provide occasional Driver support if willing.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Respiratory Therapist with an active Ohio RT license.

  • Open to all experience levels.

  • Valid driver’s license.
