How You'll Make An Impact

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Resource Manager to join our Boomi Professional Services Organization (PSO). In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of Resource Management for our Professional Services team in AMER and EMEA overseeing the allocation of resources across multiple projects. Your primary objective will be to align staffing with business goals, ensure efficient resource utilization, and support project success through strategic planning and collaboration.

You’ll work closely with the Regional Delivery Leaders, Global Services Excellence Office, Consultants and Architects to support project pipelines, staffing forecasts, and administrative processes, while ensuring the right talent is matched to the right initiatives.

Candidates must be able to work consistently within EST or CST business hours.

What You'll Do

  • Resource Alignment & Management: Collaborate with Regional Leaders to align resource allocation with goals. Maintain visibility of all projects to allocate resources appropriately, identify conflicts, and ensure the right skills are matched to tasks using an updated skills inventory.
  • Staffing & Forecasting: Serve as the primary contact for staffing requests, ensuring timely deployment. Work with leaders and Project Managers to forecast future resource needs and ensure appropriate staffing levels. Identify and address skills gaps with the leadership team.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Assist with accurate timecard management and resource tracking. Track and reconcile actual vs. forecasted resource usage, providing recommendations for adjustments. Track utilization and productivity, reporting regularly to senior management.
  • Process & Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for optimal resource allocation and manage scheduling of personnel, tools, and materials. Continuously review and improve resource management processes.
  • Finance & Administration: Produce monthly billing reports and coordinate with the Finance Team for accurate invoicing of billable hours. Handle administrative functions related to resource tracking and reporting.
  • Escalation & Project Governance: Serve as the primary escalation point for delivery issues (timecards, assignments, projects, resource requests). Manage the review and transition of opportunities, ensuring SOW alignment, setting up projects/change orders in Salesforce, and maintaining accurate resource records in SFDC. Work with Third Parties for project outsourcing when internal resources are unavailable.

The Experience You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in resource management, project management, or a related role, with experience using enterprise-level resource management tools.
  • Strong understanding of resource allocation techniques and tools.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, time management, and attention to detail skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills for working with teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with resource management software and project management tools.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
