Summarized Purpose
The Resource Coordinator is responsible for forecasting, tracking, and identifying clinical resource allocation needs, assignments, and availability across assigned projects and geographic regions. This role coordinates and analyzes resourcing data to ensure efficient utilization and accurate forecasting of labor needs, while recommending optimal project team compositions to support client delivery. The position plays a key role in influencing project team performance and profitability from a quality, operational, and financial perspective across all therapeutic areas.
Essential Functions
Track and identify clinical resource needs and assignments across assigned projects
Coordinate the intake, follow-up, and resolution of assigned resource requests
Maintain project modules within resourcing systems and demonstrate effective use of resourcing dashboards
Identify appropriate staff for assignments based on client requirements, employee background, therapeutic expertise, geographic location, and availability
Coordinate weekly resourcing needs and facilitate meetings with stakeholders at Associate Director, Director, Senior Director, and Executive Director levels
Distribute resourcing reports and update roll-off dates and assignments for all clinical resources within managed projects
Liaise with internal departments to prioritize resourcing needs for future work, RFPs, and bid defense meetings
Utilize resourcing dashboards and other tools to reconcile and quality-check departmental reports, including monthly resourcing projections and utilization reports for senior management
Identify and submit proposals of available resources based on experience and availability
Participate in special projects as required
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with relevant formal academic or vocational qualification
Minimum of 1 year of experience creating and utilizing spreadsheets or reports to analyze data and trends, or
Minimum of 2 years of experience coordinating project data, processes, or information
Experience gathering, interpreting, and communicating data from a variety of sources
An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications, including Outlook and Excel
Strong problem-solving and facilitation skills
Good quantitative and analytical capabilities
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and multitask to meet business deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
