Job Description

What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a Resolution Officer to support the Finance and Business Partners of FSS (Financial Shared Services) Accounting Services with respect to the provision of the Specialized Services provided by FSS.
This includes but is not limited to Accounts Receivable and processing of Journal Entries, Top Side and Adjustment Capture adhering to strict timelines and service delivery metrics for all processes and act as a liaison to partners for problem identification and resolution, service quality and initiative delivery.

What will you do?

  • Coordinate with fellow team members responsible for the JEAAS and Accounts Receivable work to ensure all requests are completed accurately and within the required SLA.
  • Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly/ Quarterly Entry of Journals Via various application systems varying in complexity from basic to mid-level with access to EPM and TM1required.
  • Raise, monitor for aging and payment clearing of various receivable types.
  • Review and update SOP and Job aid for completeness and accuracy on a yearly basis or concurrent with process changes.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, in partnership with management / partners as appropriate.
  • Available for evening and weekend coverage depending on GV days and quarter/year end requirements.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • 2+ years in accounting, financial operations, or transaction processing roles.
  • Proficiency in financial systems/ERP tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Availability for extended hours during critical financial periods (month/quarter/year-end).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience working in financial institutions or banking sector in financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and internal control frameworks.
