Resident of 3 years (or 2 years after completion of 1 accredited year at another institution) in the Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program, whose activities and responsibilities, assigned in accordance with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)'s Institutional, Common Program, and Specialty Specific Requirements of Family Medicine, lead to eligibility for certification by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

The primary purpose of the Residency Program is educational. Essential duties and responsibilities are assigned by the Program Director in accordance with ACGME’s Institutional, Common Program, and Specialty Specific Requirements of Family Medicine as well as the policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and by-laws of Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital and its Medical Staff, including:

• To provide safe, effective and compassionate patient care, under supervision, commensurate with the Resident’s level of advancement and responsibility, including proper documentation of that patient care;
• To fulfill the educational requirements of the graduate training program, including required documentation;
• To fulfill the duties of the assigned schedule of service;
• To develop a personal program of self study and professional growth with guidance from the teaching faculty;
• To participate fully in the educational and scholarly activities of the Residency Program and, as required, assume responsibility for teaching and supervising other residents and students; and
• To participate in evaluating the quality of the education provided by the Residency Program.

As achieved through medical school and clinical rotations.

Pay Range is $36.33 to $36.33 / hour

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
