Position Purpose:
Provides leadership, accountability, and coordination of the Residency Program, under the direction of the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Manager and Program Director.
What you will do:
Maintains and submits all documentation for program accreditation through Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), American Osteopathic Association (AOA), and board specialty as required and assures compliance with accreditation requirements. Complies and tabulates data for surveys, questionnaires, census reports, accreditation reports, and other forms and documents required by outside agencies.
Works closely with program director assigned to program to support the needs of the program.
Manages and coordinates program logistics including schedules, curriculum, evaluation processes, and resident activities which includes annual resident graduation banquet, and Scholarly Forum,
Develops annual orientation program including coordinating all hospital departments involved with orientation. Assists new residents with “settling in”; i.e., prepares packets with housing, general information, etc.
Facilitates recruitment interviews, itineraries, travel arrangements and audition rotations for prospective applicants. Coordinates the review of applications, interview process and match process. Composes, prepares, and distributes correspondence, agendas, reports, meeting minutes and schedules.
Assists in creating guidelines and policies and procedures for the residency program. Ensures compliance.
Works with the Program Director and GME Manager to maintain and meet yearly program budget.
Works with Information Technology (IT) to ensure that faculty and residents have appropriate IT access and resources. Troubleshoots any IT issues. Develops and prepares materials for disbursement to candidates and/or faculty.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree required.
Knowledge of AOA/ACGME accreditation requirements preferred.
Strong computer skills.
