The Lead Engineer or Scientist supports development through individual and teamwork. This level also requires the application of knowledge of materials, tools, processes, and products to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. At this level, the employee must have a fundamental understanding of their work area and basic knowledge of products/applications upstream and downstream of their work area.

As a Reservoir Navigation Services Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Running complex, high risk jobs
  • Building geosteering modelling
  • Coordinating expertise in one or more engineering and science disciplines across the technology project portfolio, assuring rigor is applied through the design and development processes.
  • Ensuring needed personnel skills and expertise are in place across the organization for the discipline.
  • Recognizing problems and providing solutions to mitigate or eliminate these
  • Working well with colleagues and customers across all businesses and cultures
  • Managing multiple project and/or deadlines

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have bachelor's degree with good industrial experience, with preference for an Engineering scientific or earth sciences discipline or relevant industry experience within product line
  • Show great experience of Reservoir Navigation Services or geo-steering
  • Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of drilling, LWD and wireline tools and measurements.
  • Demonstrate excellent proficiency and knowledge in RT log analysis
  • Have ability to manage multiple project and/or deadlines
  • Have good oral and written communication skills. Facility with other languages.
